Bohemian weddings are still in big demand at the minute. Not only are they very informal they can be held in so many venues.

From barns, industrial venues, tipi tents there are just so many choices. This style works well for every season, pairing light pastel shades for spring and summer, deeper oranges, reds and greens for autumn and winter.

Putting fresh and preserved/dried flowers together really does give a great use of texture and interest into the design. These designs really do give a luxury feel and can give a wow impact from a small amount.

Last year I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot at the stunning Crockwell Farm in Northamptonshire.

Along with the venue some amazing suppliers where involved.

We styled a long table with a stunning garland of pampas grass and fresh flowers, styled by the fabulous Two Hummingbirds and candle holders provided by Bramble Sky.

Bramble Sky also provided the archways used for the signs and backdrops.

Stationery was provided by Bunting and Willow Weddings – Using canvas to print the welcome sign, table number and bar sign. With seeded paper used for the menus and place name settings. This paper can then be planted afterwards and wild flowers will grow.

TOP TIP – You can buy seeded paper and print a poem on it. It can be a quick, easy simple wedding favour, guests will also get to watch it grow and remember your special day.

On all the arches we decorated them with dried and fresh flowers. We used some soft pastel shaded and some deeper darker tones to tie in with the terracotta candles and the white light tone of the arches.

Everyone loves cake and this was one fabulous cake and dessert table. The cakes were all dressed with flowers to tie in with the wedding theme. Cakes provided by The Cake Spa

TOP TIP – Getting a cake professionally made is great, it takes the stress away on the big day. Why not ask guests to bring a homemade treat to make it a guest dessert table. Letting guests pick what they want to eat for pudding. Its also a lovely touch to involve guests.

Photoagraphy on this shoot was by Safrina Smith Photography.
